The Global Institute of Studies is an educational institute in Malaysia specialising in English language teaching and research. Through a six month programme, GIS prepares students to achieve a high standard of English competency, which in turn will ensure their success in English based tertiary education. The final assessment of the programme is done through IELTS (International English Language Testing System), a public examination designed by the Cambridge University and administered by The British Council and IDP Australia.
